All program participants complete 2 weeks of pre-employment readiness and Canadian workplace culture training, including cross-cultural communication, common business language and practice, conflict resolution, and Diversity Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) training.
Regular coaching and check-ins from Achēv Staff for 3 months of work opportunity, setting you and your new employee up for success.
A relocation subsidy might be available for certain employees for Labour Mobility. Please contact altheasamuels@achev.ca to learn about subsidies available when hiring a new employee to relocate.

Eligibility

Eligibility:

Employer in rural and northern regions of Ontario and Alberta
Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Employment Standards Act
Maintain appropriate Workplace Safety and Insurance Board coverage or private workplace safety insurance coverage.
Minimum 12-week job opportunity for participant hire
DEIA Inclusivity training of management, resources to enhance cultural competencies, dismantling barriers, and preparing workplaces for a culturally diverse workforce.
