Development of industry-informed language workplace curriculum for instructors to support newcomers’ success.

Curriculum Development for Specialized Language Training (CDSLT)

This project is funded by Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development. CDSLT aims to develop a dynamic and relevant workplace curriculum for ESL instructors to help newcomers enter and grow in the Food Services and Hospitality Sector. Achēv has been working closely with the Ontario Restaurant Hotel and Motel Association (ORHMA) to ensure sector expertise and input.

From April 2022 onwards, eUnits developed by this project will be accessible on the learning platform Onyx. Onyx is co-hosted by the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) and New Language Solutions (NLS).
