About the National LINC Online Curriculum (NLOC) Project
The National LINC Online Curriculum Project started as a five-year project funded by IRCC in 2025. The project is managed by Achēv, and supported by the Centre for Canadian Language Benchmarks and New Language Solutions.
In March 2025, the project delivered 75 eLearning units on Avenue.ca for LINC instructors to use with their learners. This includes 25 CLB 3, 35 CLB 4, and 15 CLB 5 eLearning units, The eLearning units are easy to adopt into LINC programming, they are PBLA supported, ready-made, and asynchronous for LINC learners anytime, anywhere.
The project has been renewed in 2025 and now continues to create 100 new eLearning units across Stage I levels between now and 2028.

Blended
Instructors can assign selected sections/activities from eLearning units for learners to complete on their own. Instructors can then review and practice remaining sections together synchronously.
In-person (synchronous)
eLearning units can serve as a foundation for a class where instructors can supplement with addtional materials / resources. Or, supplement your desired lesson plan with our eLearning units.
