Free Electric Vehicle Service & Repair Training for Your Team

Give your business an edge with tuition-free EV Service and Repair Training for your team. EVolveSkills is a free 5-week Electric Vehicle (EV) upskilling course for licensed automotive service and body repair technicians and apprentices. This training is funded by the Government of Canada. 

Session Details: 

• 5 weeks (September 30 – November 1) 
• Tuesday/Thursday evenings plus two Saturdays (October 18 & Nov 1)
• 6 hours online + 24 hours in-class training at Durham College, Whitby Campus 
• Participants receive a certificate upon completion

• Types of High Voltage Vehicles 
• High Voltage Vehicle Battery Systems 
• Motors, Inverters and Control Systems 
• High Voltage Charging Systems 
• Hybrid and Electric Powertrains 
• High Voltage HVAC Systems  

• Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Automotive Service Technicians or Jouneyman
• 3rd year apprentice
• 310S, 310T and 310B Certification
• Age 18+
• Ontario Resident
