Newcomer Information Centre: A Newcomer Information Centre (NIC) is your first stop in your transition to a new life in Canada. At five NIC locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), our professional, friendly, knowledgeable and multilingual staff provide free one-on-one information and referral services.

This program provides financial loans and career counselling for internationally trained Individuals who are looking to return to their chosen profession.

Career Success for Racialized Newcomer Women (CSRNW)

Career Success is a free program designed to provide racialized newcomer women with the essential skills needed to successfully navigate the Canadian workforce.

Innovations in FinTech

Are you an internationally trained professional with a background in Finance or IT? Our Innovations in FinTech program will help you gain the in-demand skills and valuable experience required to launch a successful career in FinTech.

Empowering Newcomers for Entrepreneurship

This project will create an entrepreneurial pathway for newcomers by providing practical training that helps potential entrepreneurs to develop practical business plans and start sustainable Canadian businesses.

The Skilled Newcomer Incentive Bond is a FREE program that connects skilled newcomers with employment opportunities in Ontario.

Newcomer Settlement Program (NSP)

Women’s Connections and Empowerment Program helps vulnerable women in Halton by providing a series of service activities and support to create, stabilize, improve their well-being, and establish strong social connections.

Wellness Response and Assistance Program (WRAP)

This Wellness Response and Assistance Program (WRAP) program aims to improve access to mental health services for clients who receive social assistance, such as Ontario Works (OW).
