Success Stories
“I hope that that I will see you later this morning at the reassessment, but just in case I don't see you I wanted you to know that I landed a permanent job. I accepted an offer for an Assistant Professor position at York University effective July 1. I was going to wait until closer to the start date to share the good news with you but I know that I will burst if I see you without letting you know. I also want to wait until I start my new job before writing your well-deserved recommendation because I think that it will be more effective when I have a job title. I could not have done this without you, I was just not in a good place emotionally. You went over and beyond and I appreciate that”.
