Monique Melbourne has more than 15 years of experience working in the media, communications, and education fields. After completing her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Media and Communication, she honed her skills working as an Associate Editor, Copywriter, Freelance Editor and Proofreader, and Copy Editor.
Monique then pivoted to the field of education, where she completed a postgraduate certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language and was the recipient of the Academic Excellence Award in Teaching English as a Second Language. She has taught college reading and writing courses, and tutors college students to improve their critical reading and writing skills.
Monique is proud of her role as a Language Assessor at Achēv, helping newcomers determine their English language skills before placing them in language programs that meet their needs. She has a passion for the English language, and her strong interpersonal skills allow her to provide a personalized, customer-centric experience for her clients.
