Marsha Parry-Folkes
Vice President, Program & Service Operations, Achēv
Marsha Parry-Folkes is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of progressive leadership in the community-based employment and settlement sectors. As Vice President of Program & Service Operations at Achēv, she leads a diverse portfolio spanning five service pillars—Employment, Settlement, Language, Youth, and Women—comprising more than 45 programs and projects and a workforce of approximately 400 staff.
Marsha has played a pivotal role in guiding employment service teams through multiple system transformations, including the evolution from Job Connect to the current Integrated Employment Services (IES) model in Ontario. Her career journey—from frontline roles such as counsellor and job developer to senior management—gives her a unique, hands-on understanding of operational complexities, workforce dynamics, and the strategic innovations required to thrive in a performance-driven environment.
A lifelong learner and advocate for capacity building, Marsha holds a Master of Education in Adult Education & Community Development from OISE, along with Certificates in Non-Profit Leadership for Impact and Human Resources from the University of Toronto. She actively contributes to sector advancement through her leadership on various community tables, where she currently serves as Chair.
