Pursuing a Career in Project Management: Virtual Mentoring Event for Youth

Are you a youth with an interest in the field of Project Management?
On August 1 at 11:30 a.m., attend our virtual mentoring event to hear from Achēv staff Heather Brothers, a Career Development Practitioner and Project Manager in the non-profit community and employment services sector. In this event, you will gain insights into the project management role and learn if it’s the right career path for you.
Heather has 21 years of expertise in program development, primarily supporting newcomer women who face multiple barriers. She is a creative manager who leads from the front and is highly skilled in employment counselling, career assessment, life skills coaching and wellness, workshop facilitation, and teaching adults.
Heather has a well-rounded background that includes a Diploma in the Career and Work Counsellor program from George Brown College. She holds a Psychometric Assessments “B Level” Qualification, including certifications in Hatha Yoga Teacher Training and Health Coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Heather uses yoga breathing techniques to manage stress and anxiety and often teaches others how to breathe more consciously to better handle fatigue and stress.
