Are you a youth with an interest in the field of Business Administration and Banking? On September 1 at 12:00 p.m., attend our virtual mentoring event to hear from Achēv staff Karen Samuels, Workforce Development Facilitator in the non-profit community and employment services sector. In this event, you will gain insights into the Business Administration role and learn if it’s the right career path for you.
Born and raised with a sense of responsibility, Karen Samuels discovered her true passion for customer service during her studies at Humber College. Her journey led her to become a Travel Agent and then a 2nd Level Supervisor at Bell Mobility, where she excelled in defusing conflicts and facilitating resolutions.
As District Manager at Voluptuous, she showcased her leadership as a clothing buyer overseeing seven locations. A 9.5-year tenure at BMO further polished her skills in customer service, mentorship, and weekend management.
Beyond her professional achievements, Karen’s heart for community service and mental health advocacy shines through her volunteer work at Seva Food Bank and collaboration with local police.
Karen Samuels’ life is a testament to a relentless dedication to service, leadership, and community betterment.
