Join Us in Addressing Systemic Barriers to Employment For Immigrant & Racialized Female Youth

Advancing Equity for Women and Girls is a project that aims to promote the economic security and prosperity of immigrant and racialized women and youth in the Greater Toronto Area.

If you’re between 18 and 24 years old and identify as an immigrant and/or racialized female youth, we want to hear from you! Share your experiences with us about choosing your career path, navigating employment in Canada, joining the workforce, and the impact COVID-19 has had on your career path.

Join our focus groups to share your story:

Dates: July 25, 27, 28, or 30

Duration: 1.5 hours

Honorarium: $50 for participating

Eligibility:

  • Be between 18 and 24 years old
  • Identify as a recent immigrant (1 to 10 years) and/or
  • Identify as a woman of colour (raised or born in Canada)
  • Have experience choosing a career path, looking for a job or working full/part-time
