Achēv is one of the largest providers of employment, newcomer, language and youth services in the Greater Toronto Area. For more than 30 years, we have dedicated ourselves to changing people’s lives as they discover their potential and achieve their purpose. Our dedicated team of nearly 400 staff delivers a wide range of innovative, high-quality, and personalized programs and services that empower newcomers in Canada to prosper.

Our Impact
Last year, we supported over 100,000 clients, over 50% of whom are women and girls. We worked with 3,600 employers, helping them expand the diversity of their workforces and foster more inclusive workplaces.
We are proud of our track record in connecting people to employment, newcomer, youth, and language services. In 2021-22, more than 47,000 newcomers received settlement support though our Newcomer Information Centres at 9 GTA locations. We organized 126 virtual hiring events and helped more than 13,000 youth gain employment skills. We conducted over 12,000 language assessments and provided one-on-one online English language training to more than 2,700 learners. We also empowered over 3,500 seniors through digital literacy and other initiatives to become more socially engaged and connected.
